I provide a safe place for couples to communicate, gain clarity and grow. Sometimes it can seem impossible to be heard by the one we love especially around a particular topic, or past experience that is associated with pain.
It helps immensely to have a compassionate therapist present during these difficult times because it slows down the tense moments and creates more space for new understanding and deeper connection.
Having had my own experience as a client with different couples counseling professionals, I have a strong awareness of what it is like to have an effective therapist who is present, skilled and non-judgmental.
I am mainly trained in Emotional Focused Therapy for Couples and also employ techniques with The Gottman Method and Collaborative Couples Counseling.
